In order to work in the Netherlands however you need a Citizen Service Number. You also need this number for a Dutch bank account. You can apply for a Citizen Service Number at the municipality. There are no costs involved with getting a BSN. work license High skilled employes from outside Europe get a license within 5 weeks. One of the requirements is that you will earn at least €50.000. The government organization IND (ind.nl) can can you detailed information if you are from outside Europe and you want to work in Amsterdam for a longer period.
