The Dam Square is the city center of Amsterdam.
On this photograph is the "Nieuwe Kerk"(New Church) and the "Koninklijk Paleis"(Royal Palace).
The New Church is one of the most attended exhibition locations in the Netherlands.

The Royal Palace has a representative function, the Queen is not living here.
She lives in Palace "Huis ten Bosch", Northeast of The Hague.
The Hague is the capital city of the Netherlands.
At this moment the Royal Palace in Amsterdam is closed for renovation works. Early 2008 it will be open again.
