The Royal Palace has a representative function, the King and Queen are not living here. They live at the moment in Villa Eikenhorst but will move to Palace "Huis ten Bosch", Northeast of The Hague. A palace will be renovated first. The Hague is the capital city of the Netherlands. The Royal Palace was closed for years for renovation work but re-opened summer 2009. It is possible to make a tour through the palace from Tuesday till Sunday. Mondays, the palace is closed. Opening hours: 12.00-17.00. Admission is €7.50. Children 5-16, students,seniors pay €6.50.
